As of last night, the donations to the truly homeless people of the apartment complex, total a whopping $1,179,000, mostly from anonymous donors. The largest was $1 Million and the second largest was $50,000. The amount of clothing, toys, toiletries, food is unbelievable. A local church, Mercy Lutheran, houses all this stuff in two large meeting rooms. Not only does THE Christmas spirit live on,this is what happens when AMERICANS help AMERICANS.
