It's just that those who are offended are talking louder than we are. So my advice to you is don't sit quietly by why the few take over their points of view for us. "Merry Christmas to all" and to all, what matters to you, sing out loud. It could be though, that saying "Happy Birth of Jesus Day", would really drive some people up a wall, and would be a mouth full for others. Many kids in Sunday School still say "Happy Birthday baby Jesus". Maybe saying "Merry Christmas" is a pretty good traditional compromise. Shouldn't we be saying Happy Birthday and singing Happy Birthday around the dinner table. Our family minister always had us sing happy birthday to Jesus on Christmas day. He has passed away now.
